The list of the Association of Country Music Awards nominees has finally been announced and HARDY tops the bill with seven outstanding nominations. Meanwhile, CMA's most nominated artist Lainey Wilson follows behind with six nods, while a flurry of other country superstars got five nods each, including Miranda Lambert.
The 2023 ACM Awards have instituted several changes to their nominations list by expanding some categories like Entertainer of the Year from five to seven people.

Current Entertainer of the Year awardee Miranda Lambert leads the pack, while Kane Brown becomes the first biracial and first Black artist to be nominated for the said award.

Thomas Rhett, who is supposed to get his 7-year streak of being nominated for Male Artists of the Year, was surprisingly snubbed from the category. It is also Brown's first nomination in the said category.

With Lambert's nomination for the said category, she becomes the most nominated artist in the history of the ACM Awards for Female Artist of the Year, surpassing Reba McEntire who only had 16 nominations - she now has 17.
