Following his much-anticipated headlining set at Coachella, Frank Ocean has received praise from fellow musicians, including pop star Justin Bieber.

However, a viral video has recently surfaced suggesting that the Canadian singer fell asleep during the performance.

Unfortunately, the run-up to what was supposed to be a fantastic headline show, the "Thinking About You" performer, didn't quite go as planned.

Frank's performance moved Justin to Instagram to express his deep appreciation. Despite some fans feeling let down, Justin found the performance "deeply moving."

He said in an Instagram post, "I was blown away by Frank Ocean's Coachella performance."

"His artistry is simply unmatched, his style, his taste, his voice, his attention to detail. I was deeply moved."

The "Peaches" singer said, "It made me want to continue and improve as an artist. He continues to set the bar high and gave me a night I will never forget. Thanks Frank."

A TikTok video was then uploaded, which showed Justin in the audience during Frank's act; viewers assumed he had dozed off. Nonetheless, it caused a stir on social media, with people debating what had occurred.

The caption on the video said from TikTok user pineappleonpisa said, "Not justin bieber asleep @ the frank set."

The response to the "One Less Lonely Girl" hitmaker was harsh, as one person quipped: "Yes asleep standing up."

Another sarcastically remarked: "Might as well since frank didn't give us the performance anyways." Clearly, the audience was not impressed.

Frank Ocean Coachella Set

Attendees of the Frank Ocean Coachella set were incredibly disappointed when he arrived on stage an hour later than expected. He remained seated throughout his performance and turned his back to the public, leading people to believe he was sometimes lip-syncing.

Furthermore, much to everyone's distress, many of their favorite songs weren't featured in the setlist.

Justin Bieber, who turned his Instagram comments off, also received a ton of heat for defending Frank Ocean but couldn't defend his wife, Hailey Baldwin-Bieber, amid several controversies.

Many social media users have asked, "Why is Justin Bieber willing to defend Frank Ocean, but not his own wife?"

While the reason remains a mystery as to why the comment section of Justin's post has been disabled, this inquiry seems to be on many people's minds.
