Kelly Clarkson is experiencing heartbreak as a mother as she recently revealed an unfortunate experience that her daughter had been going through at school.

The TV host recently spoke about the matter on her talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show" when special guest Henry Winkler dropped by for an interview.

In their conversation, the "American Idol" winner revealed that her 8-year-old daughter, River, has been bullied because of her dyslexia.

Winkler, a popular American actor, is also known for writing many books despite having dyslexia. Clarkson didn't hold back with her emotions as she finds it amazing to tell River that the actor is suffering from the condition but was able to achieve what he wanted to do in life.

"And you have told me that you're dyslexic as well, and I find that amazing to tell my daughter that you've written, like, 40 books and you're dyslexic," she said on her show. (via Marie Claire)

Kelly Clarkson Daughter 'Empowered' After Dyslexia Presentation at School

Elsewhere in the interview, the former "The Voice" coach revealed that her daughter's school did a presentation about dyslexia which featured some of the amazing celebrities who were also dealing with the same condition including Henry Winkler.

Clarkson then revealed that River was empowered by the presentation because public figures are "so open about" them having dyslexia.

The actor later turned to the camera and spoke directly to the host's daughter, saying, "River, how you learn has nothing to do with how brilliant you are," prompting Clarkson to get emotional.

Aside from River, Kelly Clarkson is also a mom to 7-year-old Remington. She shares both children with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
