Drama is heating up between Coi Leray and Latto as the former called out the latter in a flurry of angry posts on Twitter. The fury came on the heels of Latto's release of her new song, "Put It On Da Floor," an alleged diss track to Nicki Minaj.

Coi Leray, Latto Feud Explained

For those who don't know, Coi Leray and Latto have some history together, liking the same person - Nicki Minaj.

Both female rap artists have publicly confessed to their admiration of Minaj on many occasions. However, what sets them apart is that the other had a collaboration with the Queen of Rap, while the other has not.

Famously, Coi Leray linked up with Minaj on "Blick Blick," despite some drama with her father. As for Latto, despite asking Nicki Minaj multiple times for a collaboration on "Big Energy," she was turned down and held it against her in their very public Twitter spat last year.

While Latto has already burned her bridges with Nicki, Coi remains a good friend of the rap royalty. Now, in the released version of "Put It On Da Floor," Latto seemed to take a jab at Coi Leray.

In "Put It On Da Floor" lyrics, Latto rapped this: "Smokin' on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray/Bitches like to run their mouths but I'm the type to run the fade."

Hours after it was released, Coi heard about it on social media, which gave her piece of mind about Latto's uppercut.

Starting with an ominous tweet, "Let's fight," Coi then namechecked Latto in her second tweet, telling her not to come at her and talk about her body. In the past, she has fended off body shamers online, which explains why talking about her body is a sensitive topic for her.

"These b*tches wanna be like the n****s so bad. Y'all wanna have rap beef SOOOOOO BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD," she continued. "Anybody that talk about my body wants MY BODY!!!!!!!!!!!! Like real badddddd."

While Latto does not seem to fight back, Coi unleashes another stern reminder.

Latto Dragged Coi Leray On Nicki Minaj Diss

In her Coachella performance last week, Latto performed a snippet of "Put It On Da Floor."

Specifically, a part of the song was believed by many online to be a diss toward Nicki.

"She thought I would kiss her ass, she must ain't took her meds," she rapped, seemingly alluding to her now severed ties with her former idol and how she called Minaj a grandma during their Twitter catfight.

In the same song, Latto dragged Coi on the game, which some people online described to be a manifestation of her jealousy towards the latter getting a feature from Nicki Minaj.
