Rumors have been swirling that the breakup between superstar singer Taylor Swift, and her partner of nearly seven years, Joe Alwyn had something to do with infidelity.

The couple began secretly dating in 2016 after meeting at the Met Gala. In fact, they were so discreet that when Joe was asked about his relationship with the pop star in an interview with British Vogue, he refused to comment on their romance.

Much to Swifties' surprise, Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift ended their relationship "a few weeks ago," as confirmed by People magazine.

Entertainment Tonight was the first to report this sudden news, citing an unnamed source. Consequently, speculation about what could have caused such an abrupt split between two notoriously private people has been rampant.

A source told the outlet that their breakup wasn't "dramatic" and that "the relationship had just run its course. It's why he hasn't been spotted at any shows."

With the sudden breakup of Taylor and Joe, rumors have circulated claiming that infidelity might have been involved.

Fans have scoured the web trying to find any evidence that could support this theory - and while they search, it has recently been reported that the "Anti-Hero" singer visited London earlier this month.

During her brief break in her tour schedule, she reportedly spent the Easter holiday with the British actor, who was busy filming his upcoming movie.

Blind Item About Cheating

In an April 11 blind item, it said, "The A+ list singer did some striking back of her own by throwing the foreign-born actor under the bus about his lack of career."

"Will she go really deep and talk about the cheating or save it for new music?"

The interesting blind item was shared by a Swiftie account on Twitter, claiming that Joe had cheated on Taylor.

This sparked speculation among her followers, some of whom looked to her "Eras Tour" performances for clues, mainly focusing on her surprise songs.

At her Houston, Texas, concert, the blonde bombshell surprised the crowd with a performance of her hit "You're Not Sorry."

The song expresses her refusal to accept an apology from a former partner who has proven themselves untrustworthy. Subsequently, some fans blamed Joe Alwyn for this choice of tune, with one person asking Twitter, "What did you do Joe Alwyn?"

Word of the alleged infidelity quickly circulated among her friends and fans, leading to a massive backlash toward Joe.

They formulated their own opinions on what had happened, with one person writing on Twitter: "Joe Alwyn was not only a cheater, but apparently Taylor only became aware this week."
