We might not be seeing more "Wicked" movie updates and leaks anytime soon as the production seems to have banned the use of drones on set.

The announcement came on the heels of consecutive stills and videos that made rounds on social media last week, showing Ariana Grande singing and performing the movie's first musical number, "No One Mourns The Wicked."

'Wicked' Movie Bans Drones In Production Zone

In an Instagram story that "Wicked" movie director Jon M. Chu posted recently, it shows the director's first response to the subsequent leaks from the production.

"Public Notice: Use of Drones and UAVS (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)," the note read, showing the prohibition of such video and photo capturing devices. "This is a private property. The landowner does not authorize the use of drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles."

After Chu posted the ominous warning on his Instagram account, Ariana Grande reposted the said story on her account, tagging the director too.

Grande's costume and performance of "No One Mourns The Wicked" took social media by storm, building the anticipation for the upcoming release of "Wicked" even more.

Shortly after, some "Wicked" leaked videos online have since been deleted due to copyright issues.

Earlier last week, Entertainment Tonight posted a video of Grande singing a snippet of "No One Mourns The Wicked," and a video of her in the iconic pink ball gown.

However, the video has since been taken down on YouTube.

Days after, The Daily Mail also posted exclusive drone footage of the said performance along with photos of the entire Munchkinland set. At one point in the video, some of the company members and Grande herself waved graciously at the drone, which was miles away from them.

TikTok videos of nearby residents have also captured videos outside the set, which blasted songs from the still unreleased "Wicked" movie soundtrack.

A village in Buckinghamshire in Southwest England has been transformed into the Land of Oz and Munchkinland, featuring the iconic yellow brick road that Dorothy has walked on.

'Wicked' Movie Plot

As of this writing, the "Wicked" movie plot has not yet been revealed, but it is highly expected that it would religiously follow the stage musical of the same title with some expanded details coming from the 1995 book by Gregory Maguire.

"Wicked" is the untold backstory of the Wicked Witch of the East Elphaba and Good Witch of the North Glinda before the events of the 1900 novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."
