Last Sunday, Morgan Wallen enraged 60,000 of his fans who came to Miss.'s Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, to watch him perform. However, they were met with an announcement moments before the show that their performance would be canceled because of an unfortunate incident.

Per the announcement, Wallen announced that he had lost his voice. However, rumors and speculations that he was too drunk to perform came about, but Wallen's CEO has finally debunked the circulating stories.

Morgan Wallen Was Drunk Before Mississippi Concert?

Rumors about what caused the cancellation came from social media when a TikTok video went viral. An interaction between a fan and a security guard detailed that Wallen was "too drunk" to walk, and the reason that he lost his voice was claimed to be false.

The video has since been viewed over three million times on the platform and has attracted a lot of angry comments from fans who have expected to see him perform on stage. Apart from the said revelation, the guard also dished out that he was taken to a hospital via an ambulance.

According to the announcement flashed on the screen, Wallen had lost his voice and would be unable to perform, canceling the said stop in Mississippi. Meanwhile, refunds from the point of purchase are being offered.

The canceled Morgan Wallen Mississippi concert also sparked a week-long cancellation of his remaining shows, which angered more fans.

"Y'all know how important my fans are to me, so I feel horrible about this news. There's nothing more I want to do than be onstage playing for you guys," he said in a statement, as quoted by Billboard. "But as of today, I'm on doctor-ordered vocal rest and we have to reschedule this week's shows."

Morgan Wallen Drunk Rumors False, Label CEO Claims

Given the screen time of the now-viral video on social media, Big Loud, Wallen's label, made a statement to debunk the circulating rumors.

"A hired employee of BEST Crowd Management made false claims as it related to last night's Morgan Wallen concert and we do not stand behind the detail in his statement," Big Loud CEO Seth England said in a statement, asking people to refer to Wallen's official statements instead.

England then thanked the crowd management company for "correcting" the said employee, who they claim to have made up an entire story that was "nowhere close to true," describing every detail to be "false" and "laughable."
