During his new radio show, "The Daily Cannon," Nick Cannon finally addressed one thing that everyone has been thinking for years: he fumbled Mariah Carey.
"Explain to me how I fumbled Mariah," Cannon asked his co-host Courtney Bee Bledsoe rhetorically.
"I just know you're not with her, so that's a fumble," she replied, but the rapper did not let up, he quickly countered, "Maybe she fumbled me."
Despite leaving audiences with that loaded statement, Cannon did not elaborate on how he thinks it was the "All I Want For Christmas" singer was the one who messed up and missed out.
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
The "Masked Singer" host and vocal superstar were first linked in the early 2000s when the former starred in Carey's "Bye Bye" music video.
Just like everything in their relationship and its aftermath, they kept it low-key and surprised everyone with the news that they had secretly gotten married in the Bahamas in 2008.
The former couple welcomed their twins, Moroccan and Monroe some years afterward.
Apparently, the reason behind their super private relationship was mostly because of the public's perception.
"We didn't want to give people a chance to be like, 'What are you doing? What are you talking about? This is so quick .... Are you sure?'" Carey explained.
However, in 2014, they announced that they were getting a divorce after six years of marriage.
Cannon even told People magazine that "there's no hard feelings and ill will" between them, and that their goal was to "put the kids first" over their differences.
In 2016, their divorce was finalized, but Cannon has nothing but great things to say about his ex-wife.
"I was talking about the fantasy of it all. I was like, 'Yo, if I could have that same vibe of where I was at that state in my life and that age, of course, I would do that all over again,'" he said last year. "But I'm not."
Father of 12
According to reports, since splitting up with Carey, Cannon has been pretty busy, and it seems like he is having a great time being a father.
"Every day I just wake up excited as a father," he said. "I'm so excited about all my kids. Constantly, from every aspect of it. From them getting citizen of the month awards in the first grade to the birth of the new ones."
As of this writing, Cannon has 12 children: Moroccan, Monroe, Golden, Powerful, Zion, Zillion, Zen, Legendary, Onyx, rise, Beautiful Zeppelin, and Halo Marie.
