In the past few months, heavy metal and rock legend Ozzy Osbourne have suffered many major health setbacks that disabled him from continuing his upcoming tours, concerts, and pretty much every strenuous public performance in the foreseeable future.
Although he has recovered well and has been spending much more time enjoying himself and his family while recuperating from the surgeries and other health bouts, Osbourne could not help but miss the adrenaline of the performance and the crowd's energy.
Ozzy Osbourne Health Complications
Speaking to The Sun about her dear husband, Sharon Osbourne, the doting wife of "Black Sabbath" vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, revealed that her husband has spent "the longest time" at home because of his complicated health had suffered lately.
"He is driving me crazy, every f***ing day. Ozzy said to me during Covid, 'Do you think we are spending too much time together?," she told the outlet, prompting her to clap back and ask him where he would want her to go.
The husband and wife's cheeky and sarcastic banter is one of the many ways they express their love and support for each other. Still, from time to time, Sharon could not help but shed a tear or weep, even in interviews when talking about her husband and his health complications.
Because of his surgeries, physical therapies, contracting COVID-19, and many more health limitations, Osbourne canceled his United States and United Kingdom tours, prompting fans to worry about the rocker's safety and longevity, given his old age and vitality issues.
Ozzy Osbourne Misses Performing
In the interview, Sharon revealed that until now, her husband's most significant love affair was performing, and no health issue could take that away.
"He misses the live audience, he misses his fans terribly. He feels he's let them down. Performing is what he is born to do," Sharon revealed. "Ozzy says to me that he can't do anything as good as performing. I get heart-broken when I hear him say that and knowing he cannot go out and do what he is meant to do."
However, Sharon and Ozzy remain optimistic that they could overcome this endeavor.
At the 2023 Grammy Awards, Ozzy Osbourne won two gramophones - Best Rock Album for "Patient Number 9" and Best Metal Performance for "Degradation Rules" with Tony Iommi.
