After 23 years, Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar reportedly started making music again.
Reeves initially started his career through theatre projects and TV films before his official big screen debut in the 1986 film, "Youngblood." Five years later, he established Dogstar after meeting Robert Mailhouse in a supermarket.
Along with Gregg Miller and Bret Domrose, Dogstar managed to release one EP and two other albums, "Our Little Visionary" and "Happy Ending," before breaking up in 2002.
Dogstar Confirms Return to Music Industry
Dogstar's comeback buzz started in 2022 when the band confirmed the members were getting back together to work on a new project. Fans had to wait for more months, especially since the members were busy with their individual endeavors.
On Dogstar's Instagram page, the band shared a group photo of them without Miller - who left the group after the 1995 tour. The caption revealed that the musicians were preparing to release exciting news to fans soon.

Two days later, it left a comment on the same post saying that Dogstar would drop new music this summer and begin new gigs. It also confirmed that the members would make a music video to support their first song in 23 years.
"Can't wait to share our new music with everyone. It's the most satisfying and meaningful batch of songs we've ever done. Thanks again for being so patient with us. We truly have the best, most loyal fans!" the comment went on.
It remains unknown whether Miller will join the lineup. But Domrose served as the lead guitarist and vocalist of the band after Miller's departure, though he was added to the band as an additional member, initially.
Keanu Reeves Revealed His Favorite Band at the Moment
Among the bands in the world, Reeves chose Canadian pop group Alvvays as his favorite band at the moment.
In an interview with NME, the "John Wick" actor praised the band and its lead singer, Molly Rankin. He also commended the bass guitar and drums for the textures they create in the songs.
Apart from his project with Dogstar, Reeves will also work with Seth Rogen in the upcoming comedy film, "Good Fortune." The actor and the team will start filming the scenes this month.
Meanwhile, the actor was also tapped to appear with Jonah Hill in the new film, "Outcome."
