The last time Niall Horan released an album, "Heartbreak Weather," the Covid-19 pandemic stole his thunder-three years later, he is making sure that "The Show" will go on.
According to reports, the One Direction alum announced the release of his third studio album, "The Show" months in advance, and he has been promoting it non-stop.
In fact, the Irish singer went all the way to Toronto, Canada to perform a couple of songs at the Sugar Beach for free!
Just a few days back, Horan released the second single, from the upcoming album, titled "Meltdown."

The "This Town" singer then explained the story behind the song and why he felt the need to write it.
"[It is] basically about feeling anxious and being in that kind of freaking out moment but knowing deep down that everything will be alright."
The song's lyrics pretty much convey the same feelings and reassurance as he said they would.
The first verse opens with, "Talkin' to yourself in the bathroom/ Losin' your mind in the mirror like you have to/ Screamin' in your car in the driveway/ Spinnin' out, think your life's goin' sideways."
As of this writing, "Meltdown" has accumulated over five million streams on Spotify, while Horan's other single, "Heaven" has over 92 million.
According to a fan-run account, Niall Horan Stream Updates, "Meltdown" is the singer's 5th most popular song on the music streaming platform.
'The Show'
As per the singer himself, "The Show" would not be like any of his other releases.
Years after the One Direction hiatus, the members went on to pursue successful solo careers, and in turn, found their own sound.
"Fans are getting a new version of me [and] the gradual progression that I've been able to make musically and as a person over the last five years," Horan said in an interview.
Unlike his first two albums, Horan describes his upcoming album as "more mature," but still distinctly Niall Horan-esque.
"I would like a number one album if anyone's listening! I would like a sold-out tour. I just like the whole shock factor when things go good," he continued.
He noted that the older he has gotten, the more he enjoys making and recording music.
"I would like to be in a conversation for a Grammy maybe one day. That's something that's on my bucket list. That would get me through a lot!"
