In the past few days, rumors and reports have surfaced revealing that Chris Brown and Usher had a heated argument turned into a physical altercation in Las Vegas.
With details in the dark, many fans and onlookers have been scrapping for more information, even turning to Usher's 15-year-old son, who seemingly had a cryptic message that can actually be seen as proof or confirmation.
What Happened to Usher and Chris Brown?
On May 5, 2023, TMZ broke the news that Usher and Chris Brown, longtime friends and R&B stars, apparently got into a scuffle during the latter's birthday party at the Skate Rock City roller rink in Las Vegas.
Usher and Chris Brown's fight allegedly stemmed after Teyana Taylor, who was in the venue too, apparently ignored Breezy, which left him infuriated. Usher had to intervene and attempt to calm Brown off but seemed to be unsuccessful.
After Chris Brown stormed off and went back to his trailer, Usher followed him. Moments later, sources claimed that Usher was jumped off by Brown's crew and showed up with a bloody nose.
The two pals were slated to perform at the "Lovers & Friends" music festival in Las Vegas the day after. As they hit the stage in a back-to-back performance, Usher didn't have any traces of having a bloody nose the night before and they have not referenced or talked about the fight.
In a HotNewHipHop report, the outlet claimed that Chris Brown was trying to confront Teyana Taylor about his scrapped AMAs performance last year. Supposedly, Chris Brown was scheduled to perform a Michael Jackson tribute but was canceled last minute. It was not clear why Brown was blaming Taylor for it.
As of this writing, the three artists have been totally mum about the alleged encounter.
Usher Son Confirmed The Fight?
Usher's Son, Usher Raymond V, affectionately called Cinco, posted on Instagram the day after what seemed to be a cryptic message and a call for people.
In a now-expired story, Cinco asked people to "don't message me about it," which could be understood as a call for people to not hound him for confirmation about what happened in the alleged scuffle.
Shortly after, Cinco posted a "Naruto" meme with the caption "lookin ahhhh." In the meme, the character Jiraiya faced the Akatsuki clan, specifically five of Pain's clones, which eventually led to his demise.
In anime language, Cinco seemingly confirmed the theory that Usher, his father (Jiraiya), was indeed jumped by Brown's crew (Pain).
After the cryptic message, he said "lemme stop playin" with a crying emoji. It is not known whether that "Naruto" meme reference was only a playful antic or a suggestive confirmation.
Usher has not since spoken out about the issue.
