Ed Sheeran has been through a whirlwind of projects and activities in the recent months: he has released a documentary, and a new album, and won a lawsuit.

In addition, he just performed the opening night for his "Mathematics Tour," which has a setlist that spans through years of his discography.

Unlike his other albums, "Subtract" is his most recently released, and fans have yet to experience what it has to offer and the entire tracklist.

The album would have to wait because it has to share a spotlight with its predecessors during the "Mathematics Tour."

However, that does not mean fans would not have a chance to enjoy it. In fact, Sheeran has made sure that everyone can experience his live performances by having a live stream of the concert on Apple TV+.

"I'm really excited," the singer said. "I think it's going to be a really beautiful night. I think it'll probably be one of the best shows I've ever played for so many reasons."

'Mathematics Tour'

According to reports, shortly after wrapping up the copyright infringement lawsuit and the release of "Subtract," Sheeran was eager to get back on the road and get his tour going.

On May 6, fans finally got a glimpse of the setlist, which includes all of his albums: "Plus," "Multiply," "Divide," "Equals," and "Subtract."

He opened the show with "Tides," then "Blow," "I'm a Mess," "Shivers," "The A Team," "Castle on the Hill," "Don't/No Diggity," "Eyes Closed," "Give Me Love," and "Boat."

Fans finally got a chance to listen to "Salt Water" again; as well as a mash-up of "Own It" / "Peru" / "Beautiful People" / "I Don't Care"; "End of Youth," "Overpass Graffiti," "Curtains," "Galway Girl," the iconic "Thinking Out Loud, "Love Yourself," "Sing," "Photograph," "Perfect," "Bloodstream," "Afterglow," the viral hit "Shape of You," "Bad Habits," and finally "You Need Me, I Don't Need You."

Quitting

Ahead of the series of successes and wins Sheeran has experienced in the recent weeks came months and even years of struggles.

The singer revealed that he has cracked on several occasions, his mental health being down in the dumps, and his emotions were haywire.

According to reports, his wife, Cherry Seaborn, was diagnosed with a tumor, his best friend just passed away, and he was hit with copyright infringement lawsuits.

He even famously declared that he would quit music if he lost the most recent case. But it seems like Sheeran is here to stay.
