Taylor Swift and Ice Spice are two of the biggest artists in the world right now. While the burgeoning rapper hasn't been in the spotlight for more than a year, she has surely taken the music industry by storm as she has already collaborated with Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift.
Ice Spice is included on "Midnights (Til Dawn Edition)," an extended version of Swift's chart-topping album, "Midnights."
Many were shocked by Ice Spice and Taylor Swift's collaboration on "Karma," considering that the latter's new boyfriend, Matty Healy, has said some pretty racist things about her new collaborator.
Taylor Swift, Ice Spice 'Karma' Remix
In an interview with Spotify about the recent release, Taylor Swift revealed how the "Karma" remix materialized.
"Collaborating with Ice Spice on Karma was one of the most natural things. She reached out through her team. Just kind of saying "Hey, you know, Ice has been a big fan of Taylor since she was a little kid. We'd love to collaborate if that was ever something that came about," she revealed.
Ice Spice has been speculated to have been signed to Nicki Minaj's new music label, Heavy On It after the two collaborated on "Princess Diana."

Expounding more on the "Karma" remix, Swift also confessed to listening to the Bronx rapper.
"And I had been listening to her non-stop, like getting ready for my tour, I was just listening to Ice Spice constantly. So I immediately got her number and said, "Hey would you want to do your version of "Karma?" Do you relate to this," she continued.
Eventually, Ice Spice "jumped in head first" and now, she was among the very few women with who Swift has collaborated in her music career.
According to Swift, getting to know Ice Spice has been "so special" because she admitted being "blown away by her."
"She is in my opinion, she is the one to watch. Just watching her work ethic and how thoughtfully she approaches her career. She's like my new favorite artist and I'm so honored that she's on the song," she furthered.
Ice Spice vs Matty Healy
As soon as the news came about, the internet has been speculating that the entire thing was a PR stunt because of the controversy that Matty Healy was in.
According to some, it was an effort to bury the controversial racist statements that The 1975 vocalist has thrown at the young rapper.
