Heads up, Fall Out Boy fans! Joe Trohman is back on the band after months of relaxation for his mental health break. Trohman announced his break back in January 2023, on the same day that the band teased their new album, "So Much For (Stardust)."
Trohman is the founding guitarist and founding member of the renowned rock band, Fall Out Boy.
Joe Trohman Fall Out Boy Comeback
In a new post on his Instagram account, Joe Trohman, the guitarist of Fall Out Boy, announced his return to the band.
After saying that he's "officially back," Trohman thanked his supportive fans for the love and support they showered him while he was away. Per the guitarist, he took some time away to focus on his brain and be healthy not just for himself but also for his friends and family.
In the same post, he also thanked his guitar tech, Ben Young, for taking over his shoes as he filled in as Fall Out Boy's guitarist on the shows that he missed. He even described Young to be a "true gentleman" and a "scholar."
"I'm stoked to be back in action and I can't wait to see everyone on tour this summer!" he wrote.
Joe Trohman's Fall Out Boy comeback is perfect timing as the band will kickstart their North America tour with Bring Me The Horizon on Jun. 21, 2023. They will then head to Japan and Europe for the remaining dates of the year.

Trohman's longtime fans were very happy on the exciting news. On her Instagram account, fans poured in their happiness.

"Welcome back, Joe! I'm glad you were able to take this time away, you deserved it," another shared.
