Morgan Wallen has yet again proven that he is the current face of the Country music genre as he logs another week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts for the eighth time for his song "Last Night."
The new career milestone came as the song's parent album, "One Thing At A Time" recorded a 12 consecutive week at the summit of the genre-blending 200 albums chart.

According to Billboard, "Last Night" is still living its dream at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts as it achieves its eighth nonconsecutive week at the top.
Luminate, Billboard's data cruncher, reported that the song amassed 65.4 million radio airplay impressions, which is an increase of 3%. It is still at No. 5 on the Radio Songs Charts.
Meanwhile, the streaming units of the song experienced a 1% dip with 32.7 million streams despite leading the Streaming Songs Chart for 10 consecutive weeks.
As for the downloads, "Last Night" saw an increase of 1% with 9,000 this week although it dropped three spots from No. 2 in the Digital Song Sales charts.
Concurrently, the track is also at the No. 1 spot on the Country Airplay charts for four weeks already. It was the first song to simultaneously rule both the Hot 100 charts and the Country Airplay charts in Billboard history.
Notably, "Last Night" has now tied with Miley Cyrus on the longest weeks a track has stayed at the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 2023.
Morgan Wallen 'One Thing At A Time' Billboard 200
As for the album, Morgan Wallen's "One Thing At A Time" is also making a significant career milestone as it stays undefeated at the summit for its twelfth consecutive week.
The last time an album did it was in 1998 - the soundtrack of "Titanic." However, Hits Daily Double predicted that the album might be eclipsed by Taylor Swift's "Midnights" because of the release of the "Til Dawn Edition." Thanks to the addition of the "Karma (Remix)" with Ice Spice, an extended version of "Snow on the Beach" with Lana Del Rey, and the "From the Vault" track "You're Losing Me," Swift might experience another album surge atop.
Swift's "Midnights" is currently at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, just under SZA's "SOS" and Wallen's "One Thing At A Time."
