The Shooting of Rapper Pacho El Antifeka

Law enforcement sources told Billboard that passersby called the police, with the Homicide Division of the Investigative Corps (CIC) soon responding to the scene where they discovered his body. Photos of the rapper - whose real name was Neftalí álvarez Núñez - went viral after an unidentified person took them before the police arrived.

Following the horrifying crime, Daily Mail shared further details regarding the incident, including the rapper's final moments before and after the shooting.

According to the news outlet, the 42-year-old "Tú No Eras Así" singer went inside his 2008 Infinity EX35 following his appointment at a mental health clinic around the area. A recording of surveillance camera recorded the suspects pulling up on a vehicle and shooting around 100 bullets at the SUV.

Two bystanders who witnessed the gruesome killing ran inside a store while the suspects drove away from the scene.

Authorities assumed Friday that the shooting of Pacho El Antifeka might be related to a drug turf war, but no arrests had still been made, the report said.

Pacho El Antifeka's Shooters Already Studied His Movement

Puerto Rico Police Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Rivera unveiled more information to WKAQ Radio after Pacho El Antifeka's death and shared how the killers tracked his movement recently before the incident.

"They were stalking him yesterday (Wednesday) until they saw him," he said. "They allowed him to enter the place first. He was seen. Once he returned to the vehicle, there they opened fire on him and riddled him inside the vehicle."

Pacho El Antifeka himself had been involved in multiple legal issues prior to his killing. Per Sportskeeda, he was arrested in March after police recovered two guns at a public housing project home but he was released on bail.

A similar incident happened in 2015, during which he was charged with the unlawful possession of a firearm after police spotted him leaving the weapon in front of a store in Cataño.
