American KPOP fans look out because the Krazy KPOP Super Concert is headed to New York.
According to Billboard, some of South Korea's biggest and hottest music acts will be coming to the United States once again to host one of the biggest KPOP festivals.
Included in this year's lineup are Monsta X's Shownu and Hyungwon; they are making their comeback as a duo. The rest of the members of the KPOP boy group won't be present due to prior individual engagements.
Boy group AB6IX will also be in attendance-which might come as a surprise to some fans because they will be embarking on their "The Future" world tour, which will kick off in July.
One of the biggest girl groups in South Korea today was also named one of the concert's headliners: IVE. The group may have debuted two years ago, but they are one of the most successful groups in KPOP today.
They will all be accompanied by Kwon Eun Bi, a soloist who came from the girl group IZ*ONE.
What, When, Where, and How?
The Krazy KPOP Super Concert will be held at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York on Aug 26.
Tickets will go on sale on Jun 8 via Ticketmaster. General sale, however, will commence the following day, Jun 9.
As of this writing, there is still no announced ticket prices, however, the tickets will give fans a chance to experience their favorite music and see their favorite KPOP idols up close and personal.
A stage check VIP package will include several perks like early access to the venue, along with a designated check-in as well as the chance to see the KPOP idols before the show starts.
The New KCON?
Make no mistake: just because this is called a super concert, does not mean there has been a lack of KPOP concerts and festivals in the United States.
In fact, back in 2012, Pulse Events established KCON, an annual KPOP concert slash festival held in California for three consecutive nights.
The highly anticipated event has seen multiple iconic performances throughout the years, and the Krazy Kpop Super Concert is just another installment.
The vent gives a chance to those groups who are beloved by many fans but are still yet to test out the waters in America.
The KPOP scene in the country is just about to get bigger and bigger in the coming years.
