This weekend, Sheffield was excited as hometown heroes, the famous four-piece band Arctic Monkeys, performed two multiple gigs in Hillsborough Park in the UK.
As soon as he began playing, the band's front man Alex Turner started by expertly delivering their hit song, "Mardy Bum," one of 2006's most famous lyrics.
Instantly, everyone in attendance started singing along with him.
The lyrics go, "Now then Mardy Bum, I've seen your face and it's like looking down the barrel of a gun."
As soon as Alex sang, there was an immediate reaction, and everyone began to sing along with him. He then proceeded to quickly move on to what would have been a second chorus, but unfortunately, he couldn't perform it correctly due to not remembering all of its words.
"Oh, I'm in trouble again, aren't I? I thought as much."
Glancing around, bemused, Alex realized he was not singing the correct lyrics. But fortunately, he could depend on those in attendance to get him back on track.
Before long, his performance was back in full flow, and he gave an appreciative nod to the audience for their assistance.
As he performed a range of songs, including some of his most popular tracks, "Snap Out of It" and "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?", cheers filled the venue as fans were mesmerized by the front man's energy.
Arctic Monkeys are touring in June to support their newest project, "The Car". Their tour is bringing them to Southampton, London, and Dublin first before coming to a close in Glasgow on June 25th.
They have already hit up Manchester, Norwich, Sheffield, and Swansea, performing for eager fans after their long-awaited return to live music.
