It is no surprise that Queen Beyonce has expressed her admiration for the popular Netflix series "Bridgerton."
An anonymous source spoke to The Sun claiming that a tight security measure was enforced, allowing the "Single Ladies" singer to take a private tour of the show's set in London.
A great deal of security was set in place for her arrival - all those involved were sworn to secrecy, the source said.
They went on to add it was a monumental event for all present on set. Beyonce reportedly asked many questions and made an effort to get to know everyone. Those gathered mentioned how friendly and gracious she was after her visit concluded.
Though Beyonce's "Renaissance" Tour was in London, it is reported that showrunners specifically reached out to her after discovering she was a fan and offered her a tour.
Additionally, another connection exists between Queen Bey and "Bridgerton" Marc Pilcher, head makeup artist for the Netflix show, revealed that 2002's "Austin Powers In Goldmember" inspired him for Queen Charlotte's wig - Beyonce's hair from that movie!
No one can deny the impact the "Lemonade" hitmaker has had on film and television.
Her portrayal of Foxxy Cleopatra in a comedic spy flick is still remembered fondly.
Now, Shonda Rhimes, creator of Bridgerton, is tapping into her charm for a new spinoff - "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" - featuring covers of modern hits arranged in classical style as part of its soundtrack.
Early this month, editor Matt Pevic revealed to MovieWeb, "When we finally decided on [using covers], Shonda came in and said, 'I want to hear Queen Bey. I want to hear Beyoncé in this series."
He said, "Shonda sometimes can't even see a show without having the right temp music."
He was particularly enthusiastic when speaking about Shonda and the offshoot, noting that her decisions are always daring.
