After Anita Baker dismissed Babyface as the opening act for her tour, Tank defended his friend and mentor as vehemently as possible while remaining as respectful as possible.
While Tank confesses he is biased toward Babyface because he recently sang backup at the R&B legend's "Tiny Desk Concert," he asserts that Babyface is an innocent victim of AB's irrational rage.
As previously reported, AB formally removed Babyface from her Songstress Tour on Tuesday after she felt attacked by his fans.
The two R&B legends had been feuding over stage time, and Babyface was even barred from performing on the New Jersey portion of the tour in May, which is an error Babyface apologized for despite it not being his fault!!! Tank asserts that Babyface is too timid to respond appropriately to AB, but not him.
To remedy the situation, according to Tank, the people need a "Protect Black Men" movement to counteract what women are doing.
It can be recalled that Babyface has been removed from Anita Baker's tour after several days of Twitter criticism. In a statement provided to USA TODAY on Tuesday, the 64-year-old Grammy-winning singer-songwriter affirmed Baker's decision to remove him from her Songstress Tour, expressing his "disappointment" "It's unfortunate and disheartening to see how things have played out via social media.

He said he was looking forward to the remaining dates and wishing Anita nothing but love and respect for the remainder of her tour.
The removal of Babyface is the result of a feud between the two musicians that played out for their followers on social media.
Baker asked Babyface, whose actual name is Kenneth Brian Edmonds, on Twitter on Monday to stop fans from bullying and threatening her because he did not perform at a May concert of the tour.
She referred to them as "Kenny's Crazies."
She said some of his fans do not accept the fact that he is contracted as her tour's special guest support." Some even wish for her harm, she shared.
Her tweet came after a week of references to the controversy surrounding Babyface's absence from a tour stop in New Jersey on May 10. The night of the New Jersey concert, Babyface took to social media to inform his admirers that he was asked not to perform at the Prudential Center so that the headliner, Baker, could perform her entire set. Fans and celebrities reacted negatively to Baker.
