Tina Turner had a crush on one of her friends - who is a frontman of a popular band.
Turner went through the worst before finding her true love, music producer Erwin Bach, as she experienced an abusive marriage with Ike Turner. She once also opened up about having a crush on another musician, and she spoke about it in one of her interviews.

In a past interview with The Guardian, the "I Don't Wanna Lose You" singer revealed that she always had a crush on her friend and The Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger. She named the singer after the news outlet asked her who was her celebrity crush.
"I always had a crush on Mick Jagger," Turner said. "I loved when we toured with the Rolling Stones."
The singer got the chance to open for The Rolling Stones alongside Ike Turner for the band's 1966 tour in the UK following the success of "River Deep, Mountain High."
In a separate interview with Rolling Stone, the late crooner recalled seeing Jagger while recording the track that skyrocketed her and Ike's career. Although she always bumped into him, she reportedly never got the chance to talk.

Turner expressed her happiness after opening for The Rolling Stones during her interview with Larry King in 1997. After that collaboration, the two musicians became friends and continued working together, with the band tapping the ex-couple again to support them on their US tour.
She also included one of her favorite memories with Jagger in her memoir (per Independent), recalling their Live Aid performance during which Jagger decided to rip off Turner's skirt on stage.

Following Turner's passing in May, Jagger became one of the first people who paid tribute to the singer.
He shared a carousel of photos of Turner and expressed how saddened he felt by the passing of his "wonderful friend."
"She was truly an enormously talented performer and singer," he captioned the post. "She was inspiring, warm, funny and generous. She helped me so much when I was young and I will never forget her."
Turner ultimately died at the age of 83 after her years-long battle with several health issues, including total kidney failure, stroke, intestinal cancer, and hypertension.
