Elvis Presley was the love of Priscilla Presley's life. She wrote about their love story in her biography, "Elvis and Me," and now it is once again going to be relived in the upcoming biopic "Priscilla."
The very first trailer for the biopic, which was written and directed by Sofia Coppola, was released, which met mixed reactions from the Presley estate, Priscilla herself, and netizens.
According to TMZ, Presley's estate claim that the movie was produced without their knowledge and consent; they also tore down Coppola's writing and directing calling it "horrible."
"It feels like a college movie," one of the late rock n' roll legend's estate officials said. The set designs are just horrific, it's not what Graceland looks like."
On the other hand, Priscilla was over the moon with the first glimpse of the biopic, "I am very excited to see the interpretation of my book by the masterful Sofia Coppola."
"She has such an extraordinary perspective and I have always been such an admirer of her work. I'm certain this movie will take everyone on an emotional journey."
'Priscilla" Biopic Controversy
Aside from the internal conflict going on between Presley's estate and Priscilla, netizens also felt like "Priscilla" was just another cash grab, profiting from the late singer, and some sort of expose.
"Them when they realize it's actually a film exposing Elvis as the pedophilic loser he is," a netizen wrote about the news of the biopic.
"Didn't they get together when she was 14? Is that part of the biopic?"
"This is why I have faith in the fact that this movie will show how predatory their relationship was. Their reaction. And Priscilla's happiness. This is finally time to tell her story," another added.

Did Elvis Presley 'Groom' Priscilla Presley?
According to Insider, the couple first met when Priscilla was 14 and Presley was 24 in 1959, but it did not bother the widower one bit.
"When we met, I was an impressionable 14-year-old. He was 24," Priscilla wrote about her late husband. She also described him as "handsomer than he appeared in films, younger and more vulnerable looking with his GI haircut."
When she was 17, her parents allowed her to visit the singer in Los Angeles, where she spent more time with him and fell deeper in love. They eventually married in 1967 until 1973.
