The past week has been a rollercoaster ride for Bebe Rexha. Last weekend when she was performing at The Rooftop in New York, she became the receiving end of a "funny" act when a concertgoer threw a phone at her face onstage, prompting her to collapse and cancel the show.
Shortly after, Rexha, via a TikTok video showed the world what that act resulted - a huge black eye on the left side of her face.
Bebe Rexha Face Update
In a new update on Twitter, Bebe Rexhas showed her face as she's days into the recovery. However, things weren't looking good as the black eye continues to swell and occupies a large portion of her beautiful face.
Looking like a panda, Bebe Rexha initially had to be stitched three times to close up the huge wound that the cellphone throw had caused. Now, Rexha uses a bandage to strap the wound as the aftermath of the injury is more visible than ever.
As usual, Rexha was positive and optimistic. She captioned her post in response to a fan asking about her condition: "My eye black and blue now but much better!!!! Thank you!!!"
Fans of Bebe Rexha commented on the photo:
"Sorry this happened to you baby girl! I hope ur show in atl goes really well and that you are confident and strong and fearless," a fan shared.
"Ilysm, you deserve better. So sorry this happened to you. I don't understand how people go to your concert to do that and I'm here dying to go to at least one show. (I'm from Spain) Wish you the best, get well," another commented.
"I, for one, at SO GLAD the phone didn't get you directly IN the eye. You could have gone blind!! Onwards and upwards, Bebe. We love you," someone wrote.
