Elton John serenaded his fans with his full-packed performance at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival, but his Sunday headlining number was also hit with a blunder which he just shrugged off.
The 76-year-old musician marked his first-ever Glastonbury performance amid rumors he would retire after finishing his ongoing farewell tour. He completed the concertgoers' night by performing some of his biggest hits, although he also left them broken when he announced it might be his last gig in the UK.
Mid-performance, John suffered an awkward moment that he shared with the public.

Mirror reported John's sudden issue onstage, confirming that the singer just had a wardrobe malfunction while singing his hit songs.
The "That's What Friends Are For" hitmaker presented himself while donning a gold tracksuit, but he soon informed the crowd of the struggle he faced while wearing it.
"Ok, my trousers are falling down," he said, adding, "But never mind."

Amid the hilarious blunder, Glastonbury's co-organizer Emily Eavis-daughter of founder Michael Eavis - also confirmed prior to his performance that the Glastonbury 2023's final night would also be John's last tour ever. She wrote in a statement (via Billboard) how grateful they were to finally bring him to the Pyramid Stage.
John will be taking a bow through his trek, Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, in its final stop at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, in July after decades of career in the music industry.

Until his last UK show, John savored his fans' unmatched love and support as he headlined the event. Music Week reported that Glastonbury 2023 attracted 120,000 crowd and 7.3 million TV viewers through BBC One.
According to the news outlet, the number showed 7 percent higher than what the TV coverage earned last year.
"What an incredible way to end this year's Glastonbury festival!" said Director of Music, Lorna Clarke. "Elton John's set will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the most epic performances ever to light up the Pyramid Stage and was watched by a record 7.6 million people on BBC One."
