Taylor Swift is currently on her record-breaking "The Eras" tour in the United States. After a few more shows, she will finish her first leg and eventually head to South America for a series of shows.

Last weekend, she finished her two-day concert in Minneapolis and took a Sunday off from performing. On the other side of the world in the United Kingdom, Sunday night has never been so loud as Elton John closed the festival with a banger performance!

Taylor Swift On Glastonbury 2024?

Shortly after Glastonbury 2023 finished, the official Twitter account of Glastonbury Festival posted a tweet, thanking everyone goodbye and giving a final reminder - "SEE YOU IN 366 DAYS!"

Eagle-eyed netizens looked at the date, and in an ultimate fan moment - concluded that Glastonbury Festival might have teased who their Glastonbury 2024 Sunday Performer is.

One user suggested that it might be Blondie after all!

"If the official Glasto socials have said see you in 366 days, that means the festival will be held Weds 26th-Sun 30th June 2024. I've had a look at Taylor Swift's dates around that time & shes in Dublin on the Friday & Saturday but she's free on the Sunday," a user tweeted.

True enough, when one would look at Taylor Swift's tour calendar for 2024, she is in Dublin, Ireland. She would be occupied on Jun. 28 and 29 but is actually free on the coming Sunday.

Ireland is her last stop for the United Kingdom tour before heading to Europe starting in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Jul. 5, 2023.

Many seemed to think that it would be the case, and Swift inserting a "The Eras" Glastonbury stop would be a very good move.

Taylor Swift Glastonbury 2020

Supposedly, Swift was due to headline Glastonbury 2020. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was canceled.

In 2022, she was tapped again but eventually, she "politely declined" as the "timing wasn't right," Capital FM reported.

"Of course, she would absolutely love to headline at some point. It is still on her bucket list but performing isn't her priority right now. She has old albums which she is still working on re-recording and getting those finished is her priority," a The Sun source said.

Taylor Swift's third re-recording, "Speak Now," comes out on Jul. 7, 2023. "1989," "Reputation," and "Taylor Swift," are the only three albums left for her to re-record.
