There are rumors that Lady Gaga and Katy Perry might perform together for next year's Super Bowl Halftime show.
According to reports, the two are said to "be in negotiations with the NFL and Apple Music."
While some fans are hopeful that the pair might actually come together and perform once again at the highly anticipated sports event, many fans are hoping for a different set performers.
"Why? They have done it already," a fan wrote.
"Are you serious?" Another added.
"Again? They already had solo performances."
"I mean I wouldn't hate it, but it's kind of boring since both of them have already done it. Especially since they both haven't released that many hits since they last performed.
Instead of having two artists who have already performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, some fans suggest other artists like Taylor Swift or Lana Del Rey; another artist that was constantly mentioned is Miley Cyrus.
Miley Cyrus for the Super Bowl Halftime Show?
Among the artists that were commonly suggested on Twitter, fans seemed to have a consensus to have the "Flowers" hitmaker take the NFL stage.
After all, some reasoned, both Perry and Lady Gaga have not released any new music, whereas Cyrus had just dropped her eighth studio album "Endless Summer Vacation."
Cyrus made waves in the music scene after staying away from the spotlight for several years.
She surprise her fans when she dropped her chart-topping hit single "Flowers" followed by "River" and "Jaded" a few months later.
To top off her successful run with her newest album, Cyrus brought back to life her Backyard Sessions for "Endless Summer Vacation," which is available on Disney+.
The album is a commercial hit, with several songs entering the music charts and going viral on social media.

Can Taylor Swift Make It?
Another artist who is yet to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show is Swift, who is currently in the middle of her "The Eras Tour," which is set to go on until next year.
The likelihood of Swift performing at the sports event might be low, since by Super Bowl season next year, the "Anti-Hero" singer will be on the other side of the world, doing the Asian leg of her tour.
Swift embarked on her highly anticipated tour earlier this year, with a career-spanning setlist. "The Eras Tour" is currently one of the highest-rating tours in the world, alongside Harry Styles' "Love on Tour" and Elton John's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road."
