Apparently, Jamie Foxx is "still not himself" after experiencing some sort of "medical complication" back in April.
Although no specific details about the Oscar and Grammy winner's condition have been disclosed at this time, reports indicate that he is still making a gradual recovery from his continuing health issue.
A source close to him told People that the singer actor is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself.
His inner circle is quite close-knit. Within the past few hours, the actor's "They Cloned Tyrone" co-star John Boyega has shared some good news on the 55-year-old's health. Boyega said the actor "finally picked up" the phone after numerous attempts to contact him.

During filming of Back in Action, a Netflix film in which Foxx co-stars with Cameron Diaz, Foxx experienced a medical emergency in April. Corrine Foxx, Jamie's daughter, updated her followers on her father's condition the next day, April 12, on Instagram, writing that he was doing better after his health scare the day before.
"We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday," she wrote.
If all goes well and he's back soon...hopefully, he can pick up where he left off.
Allegedly, in 2024, Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne Foxx will co-host a new music-themed trivia game show. Corinne Foxx made the statement on Friday, saying that her father had been "out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating" from an incident.
According to Fox Entertainment, the series will showcase the less-famous relatives of famous people "performing duets with their hidden famous family member," while the studio audience competes to determine who the superstar is. Jamie Foxx was first admitted to the hospital on April 11 in Atlanta, Georgia, due to a "medical complication," the nature of which was not divulged.
Fox's music game program "Beat Shazam," which stars the pair, will return next week with Cannon and guest DJ Kelly Osborne as hosts owing to Jamie Foxx's recent hospitalization. Fox has been silent about when they want to start filming "We Are Family." After six successful seasons of "Beat Shazam," Jamie and Corinne Foxx are excited to work with Jeff Apploff and their pals at Fox Entertainment on their new project, "We Are Family."
When the show launches next year, we hope that viewers at home enjoy it as much as we did while making it.
