Earlier today, a Taylor Swift fan account teased that Taylor Swift will be making an announcement. Many thought that she might be releasing "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" a tad earlier than announced, but it seemed like Blondie had other plans.

Turns out, she uploaded a new trailer of Amazon Prime Video's "The Summer I Turned Pretty" Season 2 which featured "Back To December (Taylor's Version)."

'The Summer I Turned Pretty'

Taylor Swift has been using "The Summer I Turned Pretty" as a debut ground for her newly re-recorded songs.

Back then, she released "This Love (Taylor's Version)" on the first season of "The Summer I Turned Pretty," a track from "1989." Back then, this fueled rumors that "1989" would be the next re-recorded album from Swift - but turns out, it was "Speak Now."

In her tweet, Swift captioned the new trailer with "Crying (Taylor's Version)," which featured a more emotional trailer of the hit Amazon Prime Video series.

Earlier this month, "August" from "Folklore" was also used in the first trailer. In the second one, the same song was also used but it perfectly weaved on the melancholic beat of "Back To December."

After "August" was used in the said trailer, the song re-emerged on Billboard's Hot Rock & Alternative Songs at No. 17. It is not known yet whether "Back To December (Taylor's Version)" will be released earlier before "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)."

"Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" is scheduled to be released on Jul. 7, 2023, while "The Summer I Turned Pretty" Season 2 will hit Amazon Prime Video a week later.

'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'

"Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" will be the next re-recorded album of Swift after the release of "Red (Taylor's Version)"

According to the official tracklist, Swift will be collaborating with Hayley Williams on "Castles Crumbling" and Fall Out Boy" for "Electric Touch" - both From The Vault tracks.

"I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing... and living to speak about it," she said about the album.
