Neil Young has released numerous singles and albums through the decades, but there was one project that fans were curious about as they consider it a lost album. The music legend's record is finally dropping later this year after spending a long time in his archives.

According to Rolling Stone, the singer's record, titled "Chrome Dreams," was originally recorded and produced in the 70s. It will feature 12 new tracks that are familiar to some.

The reason why some original fans might find the tracklist familiar is that some of the songs were scattered in different albums that he put out throughout his career.

However, six of them are going to be in their original form. There will also be a track that has different lyrics as it would be a separate version from what was released in the past.

"The summer 2023 release as it is coming to life now is exactly how Young perceives it and has a sense of monumentality about it that conveys a place in history," Reprise said in a statement.

For those who wanted to keep updated and notified about the release, Neil Young will drop "Chrome Dreams" on August 11, 2023.
