Taylor Swift is gearing up to release one of her most beloved albums, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," which is slated to drop on July 7. Swift released a short video of her welcoming fans to a new era.

"Hey! It's Taylor Swift," the singer grinned at the camera. She wore her hair in a braid and a green sundress paired with a necklace-possibly a nod to her hit songs "Enchanted" or maybe even "Mean."

"The next chapter begins on July 7, when Speak Now (Taylor's Version) comes out. You can pre-save it now on Spotify."

Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now'

Swift loves all her albums equally, however, it seems like "Speak Now" holds a special place in the singer's heart.

In her initial announcement of the album's release, she wrote, "I always looked at this album as my album, and the lump in my throat expands to a quivering voice as I say this. Thanks to you, dear reader, it finally will be."

"I consider this music to be, along with your faith in me, the best thing that's ever been mine. Yours, Taylor," she wrote, referencing the first single off the album, "Mine."

"Speak Now" is almost a completely self-written album; "If This Was A Movie," the only song that Swift had a co-writer with, is included in the album's deluxe version.

In the new re-recorded version, Swift decided to take out the song, and rehomed it in "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," making the new "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" a self-written album through and through.

According to reports, the upcoming album will boast 22 tracks, including six new songs that have never been released to the public before-which Swift calls vault tracks.

The "Anti-Hero" singer announced that she will be bringing Paramore's Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy as special featured artists on two songs from the vault.

Five Fun Facts About "Speak Now"

Swift's third album was supposed to be called "Enchanted," however, her previous label, Big Machine Records, decided to stay away from the fairytale concept, so she decided to go with "Speak Now" instead.

The hidden message on the booklet of the old version revealed a treasure trove of information about the songs and the people they were written about.

"Enchanted" is about Owl City's Adam Young, "Innocent" is about Kanye West, "Last Kiss" is about Joe Jonas, "Story of Us" was about her experience at the CMT Music Awards, while "Never Grow Up" is about Swift moving out for the first time, and the list goes on.

One of the album's singles, "Sparks Fly" was written well before the album was even conceptualized. According to reports, the song was written long before Swift even dropped her debut album in 2006.
