After feuding for over a year, Offset and Quavo have decided to set aside their differences for their special tribute performance in honor of the third Migos member, Takeoff.
"I love all my fans. I love y'all. We did a BET performance, man. It was iconic, man," Offset recalled the tribute performance during the BET Awards 2023 with Quavo.
"It cleared my soul. Me and my brother, Quay, man, we put that together within, like, 16 hours, like, 15 hours... We do that 'cause we're some real stars."
The recent performance with Quavo is the first in over a year since Offset left Migos in favor of a solo music career.
His departure from the group, left the duo to make new music under the new monicker Unc & Phew. Just months after their debut as a duo, Takeoff was fatally shot and killed.
"We do this music. We the greatest group to ever touch the mic,' Offset continued in his Instagram Live.
"RIP my brother, Take. We did it for my brother, Take. Me and Quay stood tall, brother to brother. And I appreciate everybody for supporting. It was a movie, it was a vibe. We needed that for the culture."
Offset, Quavo's Beef Squashed
Much to fans' surprise, the two teamed up for the first time in over a year. It comes as a surprise because even after Takeoff's death, uncle and nephew did not make amends right away.
In fact, they even had an altercation behind the scenes during the 2023 Grammy Awards-which made fans think that reconciliation was off the table.
"It's always gonna be cinematic," he added. "Thank God for that moment. We did it for Take... And you know, when you put the three heads together, it's always gon' be cinematic. It's always gon' be the truth. It's always gon' be Godly."

Takeoff The Final Puzzle
Without Takeoff, no one knows for sure what will happen to Migos and the remaining members-whether they plan to continue making music as a new duo or not.
However, fans are simply relieved that the worse part is over, and the two can finally move on.
"And like I said, RIP to Take. Y'all know how we coming about my brother. And we did it for Take. That's our legacy. Migos forever. The greatest group to ever do i," Offset said.
