The curtain came down on Janet Jackson's "Together Again" Tour in June 2023.

And according to information reported to Billboard Boxscore, her tour made an impressive $50.9 million and sold close to half a million tickets during its 37 performances across America.

An incredible feat was accomplished by Michael Jackson's sister as her latest tour grossed the highest amount ever in Boxscore history - surpassing $46.9 million from her "All for You" Tour (2001-2022).

She broke records across the US, her remarkable success culminating in a double-header at New York's Madison Square Garden (May 8-9).

A sold-out event with 24,500 tickets purchased, this proved to be the highest-grossing show of her career-totaling $3.8 million.

It surpassed her August 2001 tour as Janet Jackson achieved a remarkable feat; performing three successful shows at the same venue this year and earning $3.2 million in ticket sales.

Furthermore, her April 26-27 show at Atlanta's State Farm Arena generated a then-record-breaking gross of $3.1 million, while her June 10 set at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl saw an impressive $2.8 million take.

Comparing the grosses of a 2023 tour to those of earlier decades is no easy feat due to rampant inflations as well as an ever-inflating ticketing market.

Interestingly, despite increases in Janet Jackson's ticket prices since the early 1990s, the "Together Again" Tour was still relatively affordable, as explained by Billboard.

Compared to 2008's "Rock Witchu" Tour, it was 15% more expensive and 7% cheaper than 2011's "Number One" Tour, costing an average of $106.13 per ticket.

Averaging 12,958 tickets per show, Janet Jackson's "Together Again" Tour marked a triumphant return to her heyday of 10,000 plus crowds in venues all over.

Additionally, Janet's latest tour achieved tremendous success - going beyond her already renowned "All for You," "Velvet Rope," and "Janet World" Tours of 2001-2002, 1997-1998 and 1993-1994, respectively.

It was even more successful than her legendary "Rhythm Nation World" Tour of 1990 in terms of ticket sales.

From the beginning of her Boxscore history, Janet's tours have shown remarkable consistency over the initial 13-year span.

Amazingly, 40 years since her first album release, she is still able to fill arenas with a $50 million tour in the absence of a hit album to support it - making it feel like part of her destiny.

Legacy acts of all kinds are finding a way to connect with their fans as they appear on Boxscore charts.
