Taylor Swift just released the re-recording of her 2010 album "Speak Now," which features an attention-grabbing song called "When Emma Falls in Love."

Fans have instantly latched on to the song, of course, but aside from that, the inspiration for it, which they suspect is about Swift's long-time friend Emma Stone.

The song lyrics go like this "She waits and takes her time/ 'Cause Little Miss Sunshine always thinks it's gonna rain/ When Emma falls in love, I know/ That boy will never be the same."

Since Swift seems to know so much about what happens "When Emma Falls in Love," fans are now wondering who is the "boy" Stone supposedly fell in love with around the time the song was written.

Taylor Swift, Emma Stone's Friendship

According to reports, Swift and Stone met in 2008, when they were at the edge of their teenage years; since then, they have remained friends.

Stone even attended one of Swift's "Eras Tour" shows, and she gushed about the singer providing her with the highly coveted tickets: "The concert was pretty amazing. I was lucky 'cause we've been friends for a really long time.

I've known her since we were 17 and 18, so she hooked me up, which was very nice 'cause I know those tickets are impossible to get. She's a wonderful friend."

Who Did Emma Stone Fall In Love With?

As per reports, Stone has done her fair share of falling in love. Out of all of her exes though, Andrew Garfield tops the list, especially since they co-starred in "The Amazing Spider-Man" movie franchise.

Stone and Garfield dated for five years before eventually breaking up in 2015. However, fans do not seem to think that "When Emma Falls in Love" is about the actor-but someone else entirely.

"Taylor Swift wrote When Emma Falls in Love when Emma Stone was dating Kieran Culkin," a fan wrote, adding a picture of a Wikipedia article that says Stone and Culkin dated from 2010 to 2011, which allegedly lines up with the timeline when Swift wrote the song.

"Explaining the Kieran Culkin, Emma Stone, Taylor Swift lore to my co-workers this morning."

But some fans still want to be respectful towards Stone's husband, Dave McCary, "If we're gonna decide that Emma falls in love is about Emma Stone can we at least apply it to her and her husband and not her ex from YEARS ago. Please."
