Elton John has just finished his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour and now, he is on to move forward with his life with exciting new things.
The legendary singer, 76, and his husband David Furnish, 60, have recently grown their family by four paws. Through adoption, they welcomed an adorable Labrador puppy named Jacob into their home.
The five-time Grammy winner, Elton John, and his husband David are reportedly planning to expand their family as soon as the famed musician has completed his final tour.
According to a close source who spoke to Radar Online, having children has proved to be one of Elton's most rewarding journeys. Despite all of his accomplishments in music, becoming a parent is what he cherishes the most.
"For Elton John, the notion of having more kids at age 76 is just as exciting as writing timeless songs and performing in sold-out stadiums," remarked an insider. "He takes inspiration from Al Pacino - who recently became a father again at 83 - and wants to experience fatherhood once more."
In 2005, Elton and David committed to a life of marriage together. Five years later, they were blessed with the arrival of their first son Zachary on Christmas Day in 2010. Subsequently, Elijah was welcomed into the family in January 2013.
Elton and David celebrated their parental success by expressing their delight as fathers of two children.
David said amid the birth of Elijah, "I would say we feel more secure in our parenting skills now - it's far less scary than the first time 'round!"
