Ushered with a star-studded nostalgic "I Can See Now" music video, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" arrived, and it has surpassed everyone's expectations!
Now, based on projections, it seemed like the re-recording of the Grammy-winning album is poised to debut bigger than its initial re-recorded albums.
'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)' Billboard 200 Debut
According to Hits Daily Double, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" is projected to debut with around 650,000 to 750,000 album unit range. It is currently at around the 300,000,000 streaming mark not more than a week since it has been released.
On its release day, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" has already charted No. 1 on Spotify's Global Chart and the entire Top 10 is filled with the re-recording. 21 of the 22 tracks occupied the Top 25 easily.
"Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" already garnered 126 million streams.
If the projections come true, it would be Taylor Swift's biggest-selling re-recorded album yet.
Taylor Swift Re-Recorded Albums Commercial Performance
If "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" indeed debuts at No. 1 within the 650,000 to 750,000 album unit range, the track cements itself as one of the biggest debuts of Swift's album, and her biggest re-recorded album yet.
In comparison, "Red (Taylor's Version)" only generated around 500,000 album-equivalent units in its opening week. Meanwhile, "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" only reaped 291,000 album equivalent units at the time.
However, the album re-recording projected will fall short of besting its original album. Billboard reported that the album had first-week sales of 1,047,000 copies.

Swift is already halfway through re-recording her albums as she recently released "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)." "1989," "Taylor Swift," and "Reputation" were the only ones remaining.
Speaking about "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," Swift penned a heartfelt message to her fans about the new album and her process of creating the now-iconic album.
"It's here. It's yours, it's mine, it's ours. It's an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now," she recalled.
