Taylor Swift is bringing her highly anticipated "Eras Tour" to Europe, and one of the cities included is Paris, which also happens to be the title of one of her songs.
Ticketmaster opened its waiting room for fans hopeful of copping tickets to the "Eras Tour" on Tuesday morning, but the day ended in tears and outrage.
According to reports, over a million fans queued for the concert, only to be turned away by Ticketmaster due to issues with its website
Queueing for Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" tickets is an exhausting and anxiety-riddled experience, which is probably why French fans are furious that they have to do it all over again.
Apparently, an hour into the ticketing sale, no one was getting any tickets because their queue was not even moving!
Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour'
Ticketmaster issued their first statement via Twitter, acknowledging the website's issues, noting that they will fix the problem: "Some of you may be having issues with the site this morning - we are working on it and will let you know."
A few hours later, though, they tweeted again, but this time, they had to call off the ticketing sale altogether for the day.
"The Taylor Swift sale | The 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold," the official Twitter account announced.
"We will keep you posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible. All codes not already used will remain valid."
Fans were furious with the update. They complained about the horrible system and called Ticketmaster out for not getting ahead of the possible problems-given that the ticketing company has faced similar issues with sales in North America and several other European stops.

Taylor Swift, Ticketmaster Fiasco
Ticketmaster insists that the traffic and issues in their website is due to the huge demand to see Swift.
Back in November 2022, when American fans were fighting for their life, trying to buy tickets, the platform crashed multiple times; they claim that it is because of the "historically unprecedented demand" to see the singer.
As of this writing, there is no new information on when the ticketing sale will pick up again after the suspension. Fans anxiously wait for updates.
