The past week has been a difficult one for rapper Lil Durk.

Sources close to the situation revealed to TMZ Hip Hop that the artist had to be hospitalized due to serious dehydration and exhaustion, only being released just yesterday.

The rapper, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, found himself in need of medical attention, and so decided to go to the hospital as a safety precaution.

Unfortunately, doctors informed him that his situation was more serious than expected and they quickly admitted him.

This health issue caused the "All My Life" hitmaker to miss a range of shows in Europe and yesterday's ESPY Awards. Up until now, physicians have yet to give their approval for him to return to work.

Unfortunately, due to a hospital stay, the "Pelle Coat" rapper had to miss several performances and the ESPY Awards. But despite this setback, he assured his admirers that he would be returning soon.

In a statement to the outlet, he said, "My fans mean everything to me, you're the reason why I do this."

"I was looking forward to touching all of my European fans, performing this week(end), attending the ESPYs and more but after performing and traveling daily I've become severely dehydrated and advised by my doctors not to travel due to exhaustion."

"Once I get my full energy back, it's back to business which I'm looking forward to. #StillHealing."

When Morgan Wallen rolled into Chicago on his "One Night at a Time World Tour," no one expected the surprise that was in store for them.

As Lil Durk appeared as a special guest, it came as a shock to many of his loyal followers who had been unaware of the rapper's hospitalization until he had already been released.

Morgan told the crowd, "This is where I usually step off [the] stage and take a little break, but I've got a good buddy in town...he is one of Chicago's own."

"Y'all make some noise for my brother Lil Durk!"

Before departing Chicago, Morgan and Lil Dirk made a stirring performance of their duet "Stand By Me" at Wrigley Stadium.

Thrilled fans watched in awe as they sang back and forth to each other, creating an electric atmosphere at that moment. After this one last night in Illinois, Morgan was off to his next tour date in Michigan.

In May, Morgan Wallen and Lil Durk made headlines when they were spotted in matching camo outfits while fishing in Tennessee.

The two have grown close since they collaborated on "Broadway Girls" for Durk's 2022 album 7220 - a connection that has been further cemented by their recent bonding activities.
