Guns N' Roses featured a different frontman, who was specifically invited by Axl Rose, in one of its classic songs.
The Rose-fronted rock band has already released several hit songs and albums over the past years. Though it saw members come and go before it reached its current lineup, Guns N' Roses once tapped a singer to sing one song instead of Rose.
Guns N' Roses Tapped Alice Cooper To Sing an Album's Song
While making "Use Your Illusion I" during the 1990s, the Guns N' Roses frontman had an idea of featuring Alice Cooper in the band's classic song, "The Garden."
The "Schools Out for Summer" recently opened up about the experience and recalled the time Rose called him to collaborate with Guns N' Roses in the song, "The Garden."
He told Louder Sound in a recent interview that he accepted the invitation but informed Rose he could not work on it for three days in the studio.

"When I came in, the scene in the studio was very clean," he said. "Axl was there, and maybe Slash or Duff, and everything was ready to go. The lyrics were there. I listened to the song three times and said: 'No problem.'
According to Cooper, he immediately understood "The Garden" and that Rose did not have to describe the song to him anymore, adding that he saw it as something "where you go to pick the drugs you want." After the collaboration, he thought of Guns N' Roses as a band with clever ideas, but he did not end his work at that time immediately.
Years later, Guns N' Roses made a cover of Cooper's "Under My Wheels," which was made as the soundtrack of "The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years" documentary. The rockers also toured together during the band's early years before the two parties dominated the music scene even more.
Alice Cooper Also Conquers Arizona License Plate Design
Aside from capturing Guns N' Roses members' hearts, Cooper also made his way to become the face of the official Arizona license plate design.
The Arizona Department of Transportation penned a press release regarding the plate's design which features Cooper's image, which the singer spoke highly of in a statement. He revealed that the specialty plate will help Solid Rock Teen Centers to provide free programs to all teens in the state - from music to art and dance programs.
