Cancellations and postponements happen usually on tour, but in most cases, it's after the tickets were sold, and months, weeks, or days before it would be canceled.
In the case of Lil Baby, he canceled the concert stop right even before people could buy tickets for it, creating confusion for expecting fans.

Lil Baby Cancels Tour Because of Low Ticket Sales?
Apparently, the quiet cancellation of Lil Baby concert stops were attributed to low ticket sales, an outlet claimed on Twitter.
"Lil Baby cancelled 7 shows because of low ticket sales. People consider him one of the hottest rappers of this generation and he couldn't pull 20-22k fans in Cali and this is not shocking to me. Artists like Carti, Lil Baby, Youngboy have clout not fanbase," a user suggests online.
