Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez worked on their relationship before ultimately ending their two-year marriage.
Multiple reports claimed that Grande and Gomez split over the past months, but a recent exclusive report confirmed the buzz and said that the now-ex-couple indeed called it quits in January. According to the new update, they are now heading for divorce after failing to save their marriage.
Is This the Reason Why Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez Split?
As the details regarding their breakup emerge, a news outlet revealed that Grande and Gomez could not make their relationship work after the COVID-19 pandemic since they found their lives "vastly different."
Sources who are close to the ex-couple said they used to be everything to each other before and after their marriage. However, things alarmingly shifted soon after the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted as the Los Angeles realtor felt overwhelmed by Grande's stardom.
According to the report, Dalton always found himself questioning why they needed security whenever they went out - something that has been a "need" for Grande, given her A-list status in the industry.
As their differences already affected their relationship, things reportedly got worse when the "Thank U, Next" singer had to jet to England in December to start her work in the film adaptation of "Wicked."
Only a month later, Grande and Dalton called it quits but decided to be on friendly terms. The unnamed insiders added that they had been living separately until May, when they tried to make it work again. Unfortunately, their efforts only extended their relationship for two weeks before the ex-couple realized nothing was working anymore.
Surprisingly, the news outlet also received a tip about Gomez dating someone else over the past few months, and Grande is said to be fine with it.
Ariana Grande Remains Strong Amid Split?
Amid the buzz, a body language expert explained that Grande had always been ready to break up with her husband that she showed one hint regarding their split.
Body language expert Judi James said the actress-singer's body language at Wimbledon proved how her charisma and elegance stayed even after her split from Gomez. On the other hand, she also clarified that her interactions with her pals, specifically with Jonathan Bailey, were nothing more intimate.
"Sitting upright enough to suggest she was aware of keeping the branding strong in public, she was flanked by two leading actors, dressed and styled similarly enough to look like book-ends," James said.
