According to Page Six, the EGOT achiever brought up the topic to her co-presenters and when they started talking about the issue, she appeared to be irritated and rolling her eyes out while sharing the story.
Presenter Alyssa Farah Griffin shared her thoughts, saying she saw both sides of the story but later appeared to have sided with the fan as Lambert should not call out or embarrass people who paid money to see her perform.
Later on, Goldberg seemed to have sided with the country musician as she believes that the concertgoers who took selfies were rude because the show was set in an intimate venue..
"They paid money for the tickets, they came to see her, so she's singing. [Give] at least a little respect ... acknowledge that you can see her [and] she can see you too," she said.
Sarah Haines later agreed with the Grammy winner's sentiments, but Sunny Hostin were opposed to their opinion because she believes that Lambert was wrong for embarrassing her fans.
Amid the heated debate, Goldberg said, "I'm leaving, y'all," before walking off stage as a joke.
