Ozzy Osbourne shed some light on his decision to miss his scheduled Power Trip Festival.
Osbourne will no longer perform at this year's Power Trip Festival, where he was tapped to perform with other headliners like Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Tool, and Metallica. After the Black Sabbath rocker revealed his body "is not yet ready" to be on stage again, Judas Priest confirmed it would replace him on the performers' list.
Why Ozzy Osbourne Had To Cancel His Power Trip Festival Appearance
The rocker sparked concerns after he canceled his Power Trip Festival performance, which was due to happen in Indio, California, in October.
In a statement on Facebook, he said he initially wanted to return in 2024 following his previously-announced touring retirement but decided to accept the festival's invitation. After postponing his plans, he did not offer any details behind his decision not until the recent episode of his "Ozzy Speaks."
In the new segment of his Sirius XM channel, "Ozzy's Boneyard," (via Revolver), the "Shot in the Dark" singer told Billy Morrison that he recently underwent a procedure to remove a blood clot filter from one of his arteries.

"When I had the blood clots in my legs, they put a filter in your artery to stop the blood clots going to your heart and your brain," he said. "It sounds worse than it is. "So, on Monday, I went to have it removed. The blood clots have jammed you all up. It's just disappointment after disappointment."
He did not disclose when he underwent the procedure, but Osbourne's clarification came weeks after he was spotted going out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center while donning an all-black outfit and face mask. He was also wearing a hospital bracelet, indicating that he had indeed visited the medical facility.
The "No More Tears" hitmaker received assistance from a female companion as he tried to get into the backseat of a vehicle.
Ozzy Osbourne's Health Issues Will Not Stop Him from Touring
Before his recent issue, the "Bark at the Moon" singer already clarified during his interview with Tenacious D's Jack Black and Kyle Gass for the new issue of Metal Hammer that he never wants to retire despite previously announcing his touring retirement.
Per the Prince of Darkness, he has been doing it in the music industry for 55 years, and he called it the "best thing" that ever happened to him.
