BTS fans are at the edge of their seats, waiting for any updates on any of the members' upcoming solo projects, but most especially Jungkook because he is confirmed to be releasing an album later this year.
"After this single comes out, I'm going to release one more single, and then I'll release a small mini album later," Jungkook revealed during his appearance on fellow BTS member Suga's talk show "Suchwita." "I think it'll all be out by November."
Despite the release date being set in November, the KPOP star admitted that nothing about the upcoming album has been set in stone.
"No. I have to start working on them now," he replied when asked about what the new album's concept and sound would be like. "The thing is, I need a song like this one for my second single too, but I don't have one."
Jungkook is referring to his chart-topping song "Seven," featuring Latto. "Seven" is the first song the KPOP idol has released after officially launching his solo career.
Jungkook Drops 'Seven'
After days of its release, Jungkook found himself in familiar territory: the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and Spotify's global chart.
He has been in that position several times, alongside BTS, however, this is his first time as a solo artist, and the stakes are higher.
He has been going on a press tour around the United States, performing the song, and has been in communication with his fans for the past few weeks now.
Fans got to see a glimpse of a different side of Jungkook they do not see often with the new song, and even questioned him about the explicit version of the song.
"Why is that dirty version? Explain to me first why you think it's dirty." Jungkook said during his live stream, "It's just an explicit version. I was deciding on which version, between the two, to release. But I decided to release both. People will interpret the clean version differently, and people will interpret the explicit version differently. I thought it would be fun to release both."

Jungkook New Album
It seems like fans would have to get used to the new version of Jungkook because it is here to stay.
In fact, they might see more of it in the KPOP star's upcoming music releases in the coming months.
Jungkook is no stranger to success and explicit music. The singer has worked with several artists like Charlie Puth, and producer Andrew Watt, the genius behind some of Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Sam Smith's songs.
