There is a list of artists who are rumored to perform in the upcoming 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, but what is the likelihood of them making an appearance based on their busy schedule?
As per Pop Tingz, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Ice Spice, Miley Cyrus, Zayn, BTS' Jungkook, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Morgan Wallen, Metro Boomin, Kim Petras, Anitta, and Chloe Bailey are all rumored performers at the highly anticipated music awards event that will be held on Sept. 13.
A good number of the artists named in the rumored list are busy with either preparing to release a new album or in the middle of a stadium tour.
Taylor Swift at the 2023 MTV VMAs Again?
Swift is a regular at the MTV VMAs, in fact, it was the same award show wherein she was interrupted by Kanye West while she was accepting an award for Best Female Video for "You Belong With Me."
Will the "Anti-Hero" make an appearance at the event? She most certainly could, if she wanted to.
The singer is almost finished with the North American leg of her "The Eras" tour, before heading out to Latin America.
There are a two-month break between her Mexico City shows, which is slated for Aug. 24 to 27, and her Buenos Aires shows, which are scheduled on Nov. 9 to 11.
That means the entirety of her September and October are free, and who knows what the "Mastermind" singer has up her sleeve?
Olivia Rodrigo, Zayn, Ice Spice New Albums
Fans who are dying to hear new music performed live are in for a treat if the following artists are confirmed to perform at the MTV VMAs: Rodrigo, Zayn, and Ice Spice.
Rodrigo's sophomore album "Guts" is expected to drop on Sept. 8, just a few days away from the MTV VMAs, and if she does perform at the award show, then she will most likely be performing a song from her new album.
On the other hand, Zayn's upcoming album is still in the works, not a lot of information has been released, but fans are hopeful that he might finally return onstage to perform his recently released song "Love Like This."
Meanwhile, one of the rising stars in rap is most likely to perform at the MTV VMAs, especially since Ice Spice has a list of chart-topping hits fans would like to watch live, like "Barbie World" and "Princess Diana," both songs she collaborated with another rumored performer, Minaj.
It seems like Wallen might have a hard time squeezing the award show into his schedule because the country music star has a show lined up for Sept. 14 all the way in Toronto, Canada, but there is definitely always a possibility he can make it.
