Taylor Swift has been hinting that "1989" is the next rerecording release for a while now, and it seems like she has enlisted the help of her bestie Selena Gomez.

Fans cannot help but nice that the "Anti-Hero" singer is going to town with all the hints that "1989 (Taylor's Version)" is coming very soon, but it seems like something and someone new have been added to the equation which has only made things more interesting.

According to Pop Faction on Twitter, there is a rumor that Swift is planning to announce the release date for the highly anticipated album on one of the last nights of her "The Eras" tour, which will be held at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The official SoFi Stadium Twitter account has shared a series of pictures that have caused fans to spiral into a flurry of speculation.

Taylor Swift Lays Out the '1989' Easter Eggs

The pictures show four postcard-inspired pictures of Los Angeles with some distinct Taylor Swift themes, like a beach lifeguard's house with "1989" written on it in bold, and "Taylor's Version" underneath.

Another picture shows a Hollywood Walk of Fame star that reads "Wildest Dreams," a song from the "1989" album that had an accompanying music video with an old Hollywood storyline.

"Don't play with me '1989 Taylor's Version'!" a fan wrote about the series of pictures.

"'1989' TV announcement 8/9 confirmed!" another fan, referring to the date of the very last North American leg show of "The Eras" tour.

Taylor Swift Enlists Selena Gomez

According to reports, several fans were invited to Aug. 3 show of "The Eras" tour by none other than Rare Beauty-Gomez's beauty brand.

Fans began speculating whether the collab is a hint that Swift will be bringing her best friend onstage with her for the tour, like she did back during the "1989" tour.

"I wonder if she'll feature Selena that night?" One wrote on Reddit regarding the news.

"Oh, that'd be cute! I think this whole tour she's only brought people out who have collaborated with her on songs though," a fan replied.

"The other day someone posted about how we never found out what the upside-down phones in midnights mayhem meant. I've been thinking about it ever since. The only tracks with the upside-down phones were Anti-Hero (track #3) and Vigilante Shit (track #8). Could this be related to the same 8/3 show that Rare Beauty & maybe Selena is going to?" another theorized.
