Lizzo's name was all over social media - on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and even TikTok, her character and principles seemed to be in full blast by her disappointed fans and people everywhere.

As her name becomes the talk of the town on the day a damning lawsuit was filed against her, Beyonce seemed to have purposely omitted the Grammy-winning singer's name in a performance of the "Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)," on that same night.

Beyonce Dissed Lizzo During 'Renaissance' Tour?

Fans were surprised when a video of Beyonce performing "Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)" in Foxborough, Massachusetts, went viral earlier this week after Queen B omitted the name of Lizzo during the performance.

Instead of mentioning Lizzo, she repeated Erykah Badu's name two more times.

"Rosetta Tharpe, Santigold, (Vogue) Bessie Smith, Nina Simone (Vogue), Betty Davis, Solange Knowles. Badu, Lizzo, Kelly Rowl' (You know you can do it)" was supposed to be the original lyrics.

The Beyhive and many other people on social media praised Beyonce for such a bold move. Notably, earlier that day, the lawsuit against Lizzo filed by three of her former dancers was publicized and spread like wildfire online and in the media.

According to the lawsuit, Lizzo and her dance captain Shirlene Quigley, were accused of creating a hostile working environment, weight-shaming, and even sexual, religious, and even racial discrimination from 2021 to 2023. Several other associates of Lizzo also attested to the statements made by her ex-dancers.

She has since issued a statement about it, to which the plaintiffs slammed for its "dismissive" nature and "utter lack of empathy."

Beyonce Did Not Diss Lizzo, Tina Knowles Claim

As the issue continues to blow up, Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, debunked the allegations that her daughter purposely removed Lizzo's name from the mix in response to the lawsuit.

Responding to The Jasmine Brand's post about the said issue, Mrs. Knowles had this to say: "She also didn't say her own sisters name yal should really stop."

One might say that Beyonce did mention Solange's name, however, that wasn't the "sister" that Knowles is pointing out - it's Kelly Rowland.

True enough, Beyonce also missed Rowland's name, which proceeds Lizzo in the order.

As of this writing, it has neither been confirmed nor denied by Beyonce or anyone from her team whether the said omission was on purpose or was a slip-up like the many reported mishaps on the previous "Renaissance" tour.
