It seems as though Lizzo's career is in jeopardy.
After being sued by three of her ex-dancers for alleged sexual harassment, the singer has unfortunately been left out of the line-up for Super Bowl LVII's Halftime Show.
A source close to the NFL confirmed that rumors of Lizzo gracing the Halftime show or singing the National Anthem had been squashed due to her current circumstances.
Recent reports have suggested that the "Juice" diva was, initially, a leading contender to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl.
However, this changed when she was publicly accused of cultivating an atmosphere of hostility and inappropriate behavior by her former dancers.
Additionally, these same dancers alleged that the singer had engaged in weight-shaming activities. As a result, it appears the organization has removed her from consideration for their event.
The potential exclusion of Lizzo from the Super Bowl line-up next year has thrust her team into a state of emergency as they "save this sinking ship."
As February 2024 approaches, it is reported that they are striving to put together a plan for recovery and save their client's career and reputation.
An insider told The Daily Mail they are "desperately trying to devise a strategy to save her sinking ship."
Amidst the growing allegations, an insider of the music industry has warned that turning around Lizzo's career could be more daunting than anticipated.
"More and more individuals have come forward to level claims of inappropriate conduct against her," the source commented to an outlet.
It looks like a no-win situation for four-time Grammy winner. According to the insider, despite having earned a significant amount of money, her career may be nearing its end, and they are still determining how she will manage to bounce back from this.
"No matter what she does," said the individual, "it appears that this situation is one she cannot return from. Whether she chooses to speak or remain silent, her words will be taken apart and her actions labeled as cowardly."
In light of a lawsuit filed by Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, Lizzo has hired Marty Singer - an attorney who famously represented Charlie Sheen, Bill Cosby, and Ricky Martin - to defend her in court. Following these allegations against her, the "Truth Hurts" hitmaker has firmly denied any wrongdoing.
Unfortunately, she had to miss out on more than just an alleged shot at Super Bowl performance. Lizzo was due to take center stage for Jay-Z's Made in America festival in September.
However, it, unfortunately, had to be canceled abruptly "due to severe circumstances" following a lawsuit.
