Luke Bryan is in the middle of touring across the United States and his three previous scheduled shows were canceled due to his illness. Fortunately, despite being sick, he was able to deliver a powerful performance at his recent concert.
According to Billboard, the musician took the stage of the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and for the sixth time in his career, the show at the famous venue was jampacked and sold out.
The first time he performed at the arena was in 2013 with two back-to-back sold-out dates, he then followed it in 2017. The last time he went there was in 2021.
At the beginning of his show, he went on to address the cancelation of his previous tour dates due to his sickness.
"As y'all know last weekend I had to cancel three shows, but I was not going to cancel Nashville under any circumstances," he said as concertgoers continue to scream and cheer.
The musician went on to warn the crowd that there will be some songs wherein he would sound good, but others, he was "going to sound like s***."
He later told his fans that when they see him drink out of a red cup that he was holding, he's drinking "tequila."
Luke Bryan Performs a Successful Show in Nashville
Even though his voice sounded different from his normal one due to his vocal issues, the musician was able to deliver a very successful show.
Throughout his set, he joked about his condition saying, "If y'all give me a three-star review on Yelp tonight, I'm gonna be pissed."
Fans were surprised as they also heard many cover songs from old and new artists aside from his biggest hits.
