The MetLife Stadium is huge; it has a seating capacity of 82,500, and it is a daunting venue to most performers because they are unsure or afraid that they might not sell it out.
However, this feat is nothing to superstars like Beyonce and Taylor Swift. They are-well, used to be-the only two female performers who managed to sell out the MetLife Stadium for two consecutive nights in a row.
However, a new superstar act just blew into town: BLACKPINK. The KPOP group managed to sell out two consecutive nights in the MetLife Stadium with little to no effort.
BLACKPINK 'Born Pink' World Tour
The MetLife Stadium lit up with pink lightsticks over the weekend during BLACKPINK's concert in one of the biggest stadiums in the United States for their highly anticipated "Born Pink" world tour.
They are the first KPOP girl group ever to perform at the MetLife Stadium and sell it out for two consecutive nights, reports say, which is monumental for all KPOP groups.
While KPOP is one of the world's most popular genres of music right now, especially due to the success and fame of other groups like BTS, SEVENTEEN, and TWICE, something is definitely setting BLACKPINK apart from the others.
According to reports, BLACKPINK's concert earned $200 million in ticket sales from 48 shows across the United States during their "Born Pink" world tour.

BLACKPINK Stuns KPOP Fans
The four-membered girl group, which is composed of Jenny, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa, not only were received by a two sold out shows, their concerts were also well attended by celebrities.
According to reports, fellow KPOP idols Minnie, Miyeon, and Yuqi from the girl group G-IDLE were in attendance, KPOP ballad singer Ashley Choi, as well as retired American footballer Tom Brady and his daughter.
Billboard compiled all the highlights from the group's celebratory encore at MetLife Stadium, which included BLACKPINK performing "Lovesick Girls," one of their hit songs, in the rain.
BLACKPINK also celebrated their seventh anniversary during the concert with a four-tiered cake. They debuted back on Aug. 8, but felt like the perfect time to celebrate it was during their show over the weekend.
Jennie even addressed the audience and thanked them for attending the show, "We're just really happy to share our today with you guys. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for every single one of you guys out there and we could not thank you guys enough."
